Meet The New General Manager of Wrentham Tool Group™, Gordon Scott

Wrentham Tool Group™ is thrilled to welcome our new General Manager, Gordon Scott, to the team. As an accomplished Operations Manager with over 20 years of experience driving operational performance, we’re excited to continue our growth and development with Scott’s leadership.

With his history of success in lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, quality management systems, and cycle time improvements – as well as his strong financial and operational background – we knew Gordon Scott would be a great fit for this position.

“I am excited to work with a true leader in the industry and be part of such a strong team,” Scott said when asked what he is looking forward to upon starting with Wrentham Tool Group™. “I’m looking forward to bringing my abilities and leadership to this organization.”

Scott praised our team for its proven manufacturing abilities and strong quality focus and hopes to build on these values with his operational management skills. He also intends to “help guide Wrentham through the lean journey and continue the progress that has already been made.”

One of Scott’s first major initiatives will be to lead and re-engage our continuous improvement efforts starting with the manufacturing floor. He will also look to “improve all aspects of business processes with the intent to improve the customer experience and customer satisfaction.”

Gordon Scott’s initiatives are already off to a positive start as he has adjusted to the role quickly. “Everyone has been great,” Scott said. “They’ve been willing to take the time to educate me on the manufacturing and engineering processes so that I can then, in turn, make improvements that will have an immediate and long-lasting impact.”
